One normal day in April?

Well ive started this blog a good few times already- im not very good at keeping it going... Originally the idea behind this blog was to keep track of my art work and my ideas ect, but i forgot to update it and left it, then it was gonna be a way of recording what i was going to be done at summer camp but then all went wrong and i got ill!
So the reason for my blog now is all about me, my illness and my recovery.

So i suppose i should proberbly get you all up to date with what has been going on. It all started on a normal monday morning in april, it was the first day back after the easter break at uni- i'd arrived at halls the day before and was greated by my flat mates with oh my god you look awful- great thanks make me feel better- i explained to them that i had felt ill all throughout easter ever since i got the absess on my tooth the week before we left, the dentist had given me antibiotics with a lactose coating (i'm lactose intolerant) so that was a great start to our month holiday. The absess didnt go and i ended up loosing 3 teeth because of it, then i developed cistius a very painful water infection- and by the fourth week of the holidays i was feeling a lot better but still not right. My decision was to go to the doctors on monday and as i was registered in cardiff that was why i came back.
Monday 19th April.
I wake up 8am to phone the doctors and manage to make an appointment for that morning- i call uni to say im having to go to the doctors and will be in later to collect our starting project (i was gutted that i was missing the breif for our 1 week team task as breifings are important in sculpture) but i decided its prob best not to cancel my doctors appointment when i look at my legs and see a dotty rash all over them. I walk to the doctors a good 40 min walk from my halls but get too tiered and seem to be running late so get the bus around the corner. Never the less i make up time and arrive to the doctors on time. My doctors surgury is really nice and i was seeing a doctor i had seen a few months before- so i was welcomed by its 'lovely to see you.... sit down.' he obviously thought i was about to collapes or something!
Anyway he asked me what was wrong and so i told him about how id felt ill all over easter- had bruised really quickly at one point and was feeling tiered than i would normally. He asked to see my legs and said to me that i looked a bit anemic and so he was going to send me for emergency bloods that would be back later that day! Bloods normally take about a week for them to process... this worried me slightly- altough i was still convinced that the doctor was just going to give me a course of antibiotics and send me on my way. I took my slip to reception and she asked whether monday in 2 weeks time would be ok to come back for my bloods but then realised i was an emergency case and got me to sit down, no sooner had i done so when i was called into the nurses office to have my bloods taken. I cant remember having bloods taken proberly before but i had lots of tubes taken, the doctor told me that i wasnt aloud to go back to uni that day like i wanted, and the nurse was really insitant on making sure my flat mates checked up on me several times during the day.
So as my freinds were at uni what choice did i have but to go to uni? Ha! I got into uni and saw one of my freinds Jackie, and i burst into tears- i was a little scared about having bloods taken, and i felt so rubbish and worn out by the time i got to uni i was just happy to see a freindly face i think, She reasured me that the doctors will work out what was wrong, but said i looked awful and really shouldnt be at uni at all. I then went through into the sculpture departement and was spotted by my tutor he sat me down and said i shouldnt be in uni, and i explained i had been to the doctors and wanted the work for today. He told me how i looked awful and he was driving me back to halls which was only 15 mins walk away max but he thought i was gonna collapes on the way home!
Lunch time! I recieve a voicemail from the doctors and while listening to it my doctor was phoning me again- i thought this must be serious. He said he wanted to make sure i was still ok and that he was really concerned about me and my results and wanted me to go back to the doctors surgruy at 5.30 rather than waiting for a phone call. He also told me to bring an overnight bag and a friend with me just incase he wanted to send me to the hospital as he thought i may need blood. I phoned my friend Claire who was on her way to check on me and would be there soon- i was really upset- i really didnt want to go to hospital but it was ok as he said just incase and it was only gonna be overnight if i did because it was only an overnight bag. I rang my cousin and uncle and they also said they would come to the doctors with me.
I became more and more anctious as the time went on but i went into town with claire and lisa as i needed to check to see if my student loan had gone in- even though the nurse insited i stayed in bed all day and rested. I got to the corner by the cinema (about 5 mins away from halls prob less) and i was really really tired- so i had to cut my trip into the city short and went back to bed.
5pm came and we set off for the doctors, i was called almost straight into him where he said i had a hemoglobin level (red blood cell) of 3.9 and that i should be able to walk let alone stand, and he was sending me to the hospital. Thankfully Claire was with me because he talked for a good 15 mins more but i didnt hear any of it because i was being sent to the hospital and i was terified!!!
